CUPS is a standards-based printing system for Mac OS X and other Unix-like operating systems. It provides the System V and Berkeley command line interfaces, and uses the Internet Printing Protocol ("IPP") as the basis for managing print jobs and queues. The Line Printer Daemon (LPD) Server Message Block (SMB), and AppSocket (a.k.a. JetDirect) protocols are also supported with reduced functionality. CUPS adds network printer browsing and PostScript Printer Description ("PPD") based printing options to support real world printing.
GRASS (the Geographic Resources Analysis Support System) is a software raster- and vector-based GIS (Geographic Information System), image processing system, graphics production system, and spatial modeling system. It contains many modules for raster data manipulation, vector data manipulation, rendering images on the monitor or paper, multispectral image geocoding and processing, point data management and general data management. It also has tools for interfacing with digitizers, scanners, and the PostgreSQL, DBF, and ODBC connected databases. GRASS operates on all common operating systems.
gumnut is a program to find the most supported proposals within large groups of people. The text or GUI client can create, moderate, and display proposals over a decentralized communication network (currently Gnutella). Proposals are text files with a simple naming convention that uses the filename to describe field attributes (such as topic and geographical location). Popular proposals are found by searching on one or more of these fields and then calculating the support for each proposal based on the number of occurrences on the network.
KADOS (KAnban Dashboard for Online Scrum) is a Web-based tool for managing Scrum projects. It provides screens on which the user can move a post-it to change one of the attributes of the post-it. It supports artifacts of the SCRUM method, but can also be adapted for other agile methods.
Camera Life is a system for cataloging your photo collection. It gives users the ability to search or browse your archive in intuitive ways, with an attention to powerful administrative functions. Photos can be stored locally, on a remote server, on Amazon S3, or on Flickr. The theme and icons can be easily customized. It is compatible with the Gallery Remote API (so you can upload with iPhoto, Digikam, and Java). It is RSS enabled, supports microformats and OpenSearch, and has a special version of the site for iPhone/iPod touch. AJAX is used to optimize the site as necessary.
web2ldap is a full-featured Web-based LDAPv3 client written in Python. It is designed to run either as with stand-alone built-in Web server or under the control of another Web server with FastCGI support (e.g. Apache with mod_fastcgi). It has support for various LDAPv3 bind methods and a powerful built-in schema browser. HTML templates are supported for displaying and editing entries, and LDIF templates can be used for quickly adding new entries. A built-in X.509 parser displays a detailed view of certificates and CRLs with active links.
relax is a program designed for the study of the dynamics of proteins and other macromolecules though the analysis of experimental NMR data. It supports exponential curve fitting for the calculation of the R1 and R2 relaxation rates, calculation of the NOE, reduced spectral density mapping, the Lipari and Szabo model-free analysis, study of domain motions via the N-state model (or ensemble analysis) and frame order dynamics theories using anisotropic NMR parameters such as RDCs and PCSs, the investigation of stereochemistry in dynamic ensembles, and the analysis of relaxation dispersion.

It includes programs for the computation of shortest paths, diameter, clustering coefficient, betweenness centrality, and network shuffles. A module for loading and analyzing gene expression data as a network is provided. The MCL algorithm is a fast and highly scalable cluster algorithm for networks based on stochastic flow. The flow process employed by the algorithm is mathematically sound and intrinsically tied to cluster structure, which is revealed as the imprint left by the process. The threaded implementation has handled networks with millions of nodes within hours and is widely used in the fields of bioinformatics, graph clustering, and network analysis.
Alaya is a primitive chrooting Web server with basic WebDAV support. It can serve HTTPS and HTTP, and can authenticate using PAM, /etc/shadow, /etc/passwd, or using its own authentication files that allow for 'native' users that only have access to alaya content. It's intended to be a simple method of sharing content over WebDAV, and though it can be configured with a config file, it's easy to configure by command-line switches alone. Alaya always chroots to ensure that malicious users can't use '..' within a URL to access unintended documents, and that users can't accidentally leave documents in places outside of the chroot. It has a 'ChHome' mode that chroots users into their home directory and serves content from there. It supports .cgi scripts out of a trusted path (so not from within the chrooted WebDAV share) and read-only shared directories that are outside of the chroot (allowing access to shared content when in ChHome mode).
