MegaTrack is an application that tracks Atlantic and eastern Pacific tropical storms. It uses the HSQLDB engine and is updated from the tropical storm data repository from the Unisys weather center.

Release Notes: An active storms issue and rendering bugs were fixed.


Release Notes: Enhanced error checking to compensate for track data errors. Server code has been changed to compensate for changes in track data index format.


Release Notes: The application now uses the Unisys tropical storm data source, and has support for Atlantic and eastern Pacific storms. There are new maps from NASA's Visible Earth project and some general GUI improvements.


Release Notes: Storm database updates and display options now have matching preferences to enable actions on program startup and the ability to check for updates on an hourly schedule. GEOS-8 IR satellite images can now be viewed directly from the program. Individual storm data can be exported to a CSV file. A storm key has been added to the main tracking window. Many minor bugs including storm classification, speed, and date display have been fixed. The OS X version now has a new icon.


Release Notes: A map may now be printed, exported, or copied to the clipboard. The progress dialog for data loading now actually works. The speed in the status bar was changed from units of mph to knots. A bug in storm selection was fixed.

The error is caused by trying to execute the program outside the megatrack-1.2/bin/Unix directory.
