at76c503 is a Linux driver for the wlan USB adapter based on the Atmel at76c503 chip. It currently supports ad-hoc mode, infrastructure mode, and WEP. It supports adapters from Atmel, the Belkin F5D6050, Netgear MA101, and others.

Release Notes: This version now handles fragmented packets, connects to 802.11g APs, supports shared secrets authentication, and supports hidden SSIDs. Changes with iwconfig now take effect immediately, and the RFMD subdriver supports power management in infrastructure mode. The SMP bug has been fixed, and reloading of the fw now works with the newer firmware versions. Setting the MAC address also works with the newer firmware versions.

Release Notes: In this version the driver now supports devices with Intersil radio, and the infrastructure mode has been improved.

Release Notes: An infrastructure mode has been implemented. The device now scans for a BSS in both ad-hoc and infrastructure mode.
