Aspose.Cells is a .NET component for spreadsheet reporting without using Microsoft Excel. It supports a robust formula calculation engine, pivot tables, VBA, workbook encryption, named ranges, spreadsheet formatting, drawing objects like images, OLE objects, and importing or creating charts. You can also create Excel files using a designer spreadsheet, smart marker, or API and apply formulae and functions. It supports CSV, SpreadsheetML, PDF, and all file formats from Excel 97 to Excel 2007.

Release Notes: This release adds extensive support for the DataView object, lets users import more than 65,536 records (this was a restriction in older versions), enhances the ComboBox control for the XLSM file format, fixes a number of bugs (especially “Build Error C2686” for C++ users), improves the quality of the chart-to-image, Excel-to-PDF conversion, and worksheet-to-image features (and fixes their relative formatting and other rendering issues), and enhances the pivot table rendering module continuously.


Release Notes: This release includes extensive support for tables in XLS format. You can now customize the Ribbon XML. There are some enhancements made for the pivot table module. This release improves the performance for PDF rendering and loading large workbooks. Both the load and export processes are now fast enough to suit your performance needs. The Aspoce.Cells Formula Calculation Engine has been enhanced further, and some bugs fixed for certain formulas. The desktop grid control provided by Aspose.Cells for .NET fixed a few issues while importing MS Excel files.


Release Notes: This release includes support for tracing precedents and dependents cells in an Excel worksheet formula. It also supports new HTML table attributes (e.g. TH, ROWSPAN, etc.) for HTML-to-Excel conversion. Moreover, you can now ignore hidden columns when using the auto-fit column(s) feature. This release enhances the formula calculation engine and sorts out a few formulas, most notably VLOOKUP, OFFSET, ADDRESS, COUNTBLANK, IF, and NETWORKDAYS. It also improves the Excel-to-PDF conversion feature.


Release Notes: This release includes a number of enhancements for Pivot Tables and the formula calculation engine. In older versions, you can utilize advanced conditional formatting (Excel 2007/2010) and filtering data features on general data but not on pivot data. Now, you can apply conditional formatting and filter data on Pivot Tables. Also it adds (get/set) features for Pivot Tables. It has an improved formula calculation engine that you can use to calculate huge lists of formulas (in the template file) quickly. Also, you can take advantage of calculating formulas on your desired cells only.

Support for pivot tables in Excel (97-2010) spreadsheets has been in Aspose.Cells for a long time. This module is being improved with every release of the product. This release adds support for the GETPIVOTDATA function. It enhances some pivot table options, e.g. DataDisplayFormat, AutoShowCount, Data Filtering, etc. It fixes the compatibility problems and other issues regarding pivot tables for different Excel file formats.
