libcsdbg is a C++ exception stack tracer. When an exception is thrown, caught, and handled, libcsdbg offers the tools to create and process the exception stack trace, the path the exception has propagated up the call stack, unwinding it up to the section were it was handled. The traces are detailed with demangled function signatures and additional addr2line information (the source code file and line from which each function was called). libcsdbg can use all the well-known objective code file formats (a.out, elf, coff, ecoff, etc.) and can easily be used as the base for your own instrumentation code. libcsdbg transparently loads the symbol tables of the chosen dynamic libraries and of the executable, demangles function symbols to complete signatures, and binds function names to runtime addresses (even for the DSO symbols).
Release Notes: This edition brings a major feature: the instrumentation filters. By using such filters you can easily ommit namespaces, classes, single methods, or entire modules from stack tracing (or other profiling), using POSIX extended regular expressions.
Asymptote is a powerful descriptive 2D and 3D vector graphics language for technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text. Asymptote is a programming language as opposed to just a graphics program. It can exploit the best features of script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI) methods. High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language itself, allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.
Release Notes: A play button in rendered 3D images is now suppressed. The contour.asy module was reverted to a previous stable linearized version. A numerical issue in makepen was fixed. A routine for drawing braces was added. A workaround for an Adobe transparency artifact was implemented. Raw PRC output can be generated with the "-f prc" option. Vector patches are sorted to work around opacity artifacts in many rendering engines. The xasy code editor now accepts command-line options. Under MS Windows, the ghostscript library is searched for in the 32-bit and 64-bit registries.
storeBackup is a backup utility that stores files on other disks. It's able to compress data, and recognize copying and moving of files and directories (deduplication), and unifies the advantages of traditional full and incremental backups. It can handle big image files with block-wise changes efficiently. Depending on its contents, every file is stored only once on disk. Tools for analyzing backup data and restoring are provided. Once archived, files are accessible by mounting file systems (locally, or via Samba or NFS). It is easy to install and configure. Additional features are backup consistency checking, offline backups, and replication of backups.
Release Notes: You now can use wildcards for the option otherBackupSeries and for replication. The option stayInFileSystem has beeñ added to limit the areas to back up. See Chapter "What's new" and ChangeLog for other changes.
BackupLoupe helps you analyze the time and space used by Apple's Time Machine facility and gives you greater control over the backup process. It can quickly identify the items which take up the most space. Its history feature shows how many versions of an item are available and when they were saved, as well as allowing quick navigation between versions. Drag and drop can be used to restore items to any location. Backed up items can be revealed in the Finder. File types are instantly identified. Files can be previewed and opened. Items can be excluded from future backups without opening Time Machine's preferences. Multiple Time Machine disks can be handled, as can backups in non-standard locations.
Release Notes: This release adds bugfixes: Some sizes would be displayed in MB instead of GB. Artefacts occurred in the browser view when displaying files with long names.

Alaya is a primitive chrooting Web server with basic WebDAV support. It can serve HTTPS and HTTP, and can authenticate using PAM, /etc/shadow, /etc/passwd, or using its own authentication files that allow for 'native' users that only have access to alaya content. It's intended to be a simple method of sharing content over WebDAV, and though it can be configured with a config file, it's easy to configure by command-line switches alone. Alaya always chroots to ensure that malicious users can't use '..' within a URL to access unintended documents, and that users can't accidentally leave documents in places outside of the chroot. It has a 'ChHome' mode that chroots users into their home directory and serves content from there. It supports .cgi scripts out of a trusted path (so not from within the chrooted WebDAV share) and read-only shared directories that are outside of the chroot (allowing access to shared content when in ChHome mode).
Release Notes: Client certificate support has been added. Support for perfect forward secrecy has been added. Fixes a nasty bug in Access Token Authentication that allowed logon with a blank password if Access Token Authentication was enabled. Many other minor bugfixes.

Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) is a framework and set of services for supporting system-level performance monitoring and performance management. It provides a unifying abstraction for all of the interesting performance data in a system, and allows client applications to easily retrieve and process any subset of that data using a single API. A client-server architecture allows multiple clients to monitor the same host, and a single client to monitor multiple hosts. Archive logging and replay are integrated so that a client application can use the same API to process real-time data from a host or historical data from an archive.
Release Notes: This release has a distinctly Pythonic flavour, with many extensions to the PCP python APIs. An interface allowing slow PMDAs to avoid the initial timeout with pmcd(1) is introduced, along with improvements to the RPM PMDA, new monitoring tools, and the next batch of long option updates.
