Download Website 09 Jan 22:40 Lunzip 1.1-rc1

Screenshot

Lunzip is a decompressor for lzip files. Its small size makes it well suited for embedded devices or software installers that need to decompress files but do not need compression capabilities.

Release Notes: Lunzip now prints only one status line for each multi-member file when only one "-v" is specified. The inability to change output file attributes has been downgraded from an error to a warning. Quote characters in messages have been changed as advised by GNU Coding Standards.

Download Website 09 Jan 22:38 Clzip 1.3-rc1

Screenshot

Clzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm, with very safe integrity checking and a user interface similar to that of gzip or bzip2. Clzip decompresses almost as fast as gzip and compresses better than bzip2, which makes it well suited for software distribution and data archiving. Clzip uses the lzip file format; the files produced by clzip are fully compatible with lzip-1.4 or newer, and can be rescued with lziprecover. Clzip is, in fact, a C language implementation of lzip, intended for embedded devices or systems lacking a C++ compiler.

Release Notes: The inability to change output file attributes has been downgraded from an error to a warning. A small change has been made in the "--help" output and man page. Quote characters in messages have been changed as advised by GNU Coding Standards.

Screenshot

LiteSQL is a C++ library that integrates C++ objects tightly to a relational database and thus provides an object persistence layer. LiteSQL supports SQLite3, PostgreSQL, and MySQL as backends. LiteSQL creates tables, indexes, and sequences to database and upgrades schema when needed. In addition to object persistence, LiteSQL provides object relations which can be used to model any kind of C++ data structures. Objects can be selected, filtered, and ordered using a template- and class-based API with type checking at compile time.

Download Website 09 Jan 21:45 Fluere 1.3

Screenshot

Fluere is a graphical software package for particle image velocimetry (PIV). Fluere is highly optimized for parallel processing and runs on multiple platforms. The goal of the project is to provide researchers and educators with high-quality velocimetry software that incorporates the latest advancements in PIV processing, while having complete knowledge of the algorithms used.

Release Notes: This release adds Predictor filtering via second-order spatial regression. This has been shown to be the preferred filtering method for iterative PIV interrogation that maximizes spatial resolution while minimizing random noise. References and proof of the effect on spatial resolution can be seen in the validation section of the manual. This release also adds Gaussian window weighting. This reduces the random error when using small windows and greatly enhances the spatial resolution. This can also be seen in the manual.
